There is a new record label called "Clout Records" in Dallas, TX and they're looking for people to work for them that have Music knowledge. You need to go to myspace.com and go to their blog. I got really angry when my aunt/mom sent me to Houston in the middle of my Junior year. I hadn't been there for ten years and she sent me. I found my own family there cause nobody knew I was there. I found my own way to my cousin Bug's house and my Aunt Shila. They called my grandma and sister who came and picked me up. They came and we left to my grandma's house. She called my mom and we all left again to see her. I was happy to see my family, but in a couple of months I wanted to leave. I got a Security job and I was happy to be away from home for awhile.

Circle Justice is a Native American form of justice that seeks healing in contrary to the regular punishment ways and is portrayed in Ben Mikaelsen's novel Touching Spirit Bear. It is mostly practiced in Minnesota and some other midwestern states. Volunteers help sentence offenders and then help them lead better lives.

R.I.P Chad "Pimp C" Butler

On December 4, 2007, Pimp C was found dead at the Mondrian Hotel in West Hollywood, California, after Los Angeles County Fire Department responded to a 911 call. The department arrived at his sixth floor hotel room to find Pimp C dead in bed. This was three days after Pimp C performed with Too Short at the House of Blues in Los Angeles.[4][5]
The Los Angeles County Coroner's office state Pimp C died from an accidental overdose of Promethazine/Codeine "syrup" mixed with a pre-existing medical condition, sleep apnea, which causes a person to stop breathing during sleep.[6][7]
After his death, he made posthumous appearances on Bun B's song "Underground Thang" (also featuring Chamillionaire) from II Trill and much later, an as-of-yet untitled track which is to be featured on Chamillionaire's third album Venom. Interesting, the latter track is produced by Pimp C, making this his only production credit.

Embarrassing Moment (Talent Show)

My most embarrassing moment was when I was in Santa Rosa,CA and there was going to be a talent show. The show was going to be put on air and I was about to perform my song that I had written. I forgot the CD in the DVD drive on my TV at home. I knew the song, but I needed the instrumental so I could perform it. My song is called "Miss You" and my stage name is Jazzy Chris. This event was at a park, in the ghetto by the Fair Grounds. There is alot of crime and cops aka "Po Po's" in this part of town, especially around here. The people running it had rented out a small building for us to use and it was really full. So I did the song any way and the people thought it was cool. They couldn't believe I wrote the song and sang it even though I was scared. All my friends and a family friend were there, along with a whole bunch of other people I didn't even know.

1. Tonight we had a Band concert, Janet played and directed the band. She was great on them and everyone enjoyed the show.

2. Then in math the teacher told us that we have a math test in two days. Well it's the day of the test, I cheated (calculator in hand) and passed.

3. Yesterday I got really pissed off cause Anthony and Jake were competing for a writing contest for the next day. There both the best writers in our class so it's kinda hard to tell who's going to win the Writing Award held for the first time at our school. Every school in the district is coming to be part of it.

4. At lunch we are having a read athone and I decided to read War And Peace.

The BIG City

My city would be Houston, TX AKA:H-Town. This city is crunk cause we have grillz, lean (Promethanzine w/Codeine and Sprite Soda) in our white styrofoam cup, and we ride candy matalic colored cars that's old school, with 24" or better dube rims. We listen to the Chopped and Screwed made by the late DJ Screw (R.I.P Screw) who invented it. The record lable Swishahouse was ran by Screw, but he died of Lean along with Chad "Pimp C" Butler (Underground Kings"). Now Swishahouse is ran by Micheal "5000" Watts.

There was an unexpected tornado and we had ran downstairs. So when we came back up, there was lettuce all over the table and floor. We cleaned the house for a couple of days and went back to school. I didn't have any money for the bus, so I probably wont be on time. Plus we had a test.

1.Many students participate in after school programs. Explain how this might help them.

After school programs might help students after school because it will keep them out of trouble and off the streets. When I was done with school I went to tutoring and even sometimes to sport or Marching Band practice. So basically I came home around seven or eight and was really tired. Plus I would even come to school at six thirty for Jazz band and then school would start at eight. So I would be at school from six thirty in the morning till five at night. Music was a big part of my life and so it was my anti-drug and so I would do that instead of being in trouble or in the streets.

Sonny's Blues

The speaker (Sonny's big brother) was on leave for the Army and just when he's about to leave, his mother told him about his father and Uncle. She told him that he needs to keep in touch and watch after his brother Sonny. His mother told him that one time her husband and his brother was having a good time and was really drunk. The Uncle played his guitar at a Joke Joint and was singing at the same time. When the two left,it was dark as dark can get,and the brother ran down the hill. A car full of white folks was driving and was also drunk. So they was messing around and tried to hit the Uncle and they did hit him. The father ran down the hill and saw his little brother dead in the street. His blood was all over the street and his pulp from his body. Ever since that day the father lost his brother, he became stronger but even more loving. So that's why the mother told her son to watch after his brother. The world was very cold back then and still is till this very day. Sonny's brother was never told this story until now and he never knew he had a Uncle.

NAS:James Baldwin

I'm writing about an African-American Author that I heard about on a CD of my favorite hip-hop artist NAS. This author was born in 1924 and died in 1987. The same year I was born he had passed. His name is James Baldwin. I'm so amazed by the way he uses his words and the way he uses metaphors. One of Mr.Balwin's stories I'm reading is called "Sonny's Blues". So far the story, the speaker,is talking to a guy and they're talking about Sonney. While there talking.

Blogger Writers Part I

This project is really tight because it's you expressing your mind on this site instead of writing it in a journal. We are the young adults of the future and I like this better then wring on paper with a pen or paper.
